Long Time!

It's been almost since I last updated this blog. Due to the crisis in the country we need to prioritize stuffs that we needed the most. All those typhoons that attacked our country and many other crisis we all hope that our country can cope up to straighten up our economy. What's new anyway? Still busy with a lot of home works an making sure that kids are guided well in their studies.

Christmas is approaching this is our big celebration in the Philippines and I think there is no better Christmas than how we celebrate it every year. No matter how crisis it is we make sure that we have something laid on the table during the Christmas Eve for the family to gather together and thank all the blessings.

Beware of Pool Wedding

I've seen this video featured in yahoo the other day. Out of curiosity why it's entitled "worst best man" I click it then searched it in youtube. I can't help myself but laughing out loud but also thinking if it was real or just for fun.

I must say, be careful when you are planning to have a pool wedding. Also, make sure that there are some pole to hold on to just in case one of your secondary sponsors will have a little accident like this. The groom should jump in the pool too and ask the minister to continue the ceremony.

Meet Hector Kabande

Let us meet another amazing person of hospitality business Hector Kabande who contributed and part of the hotel industry for quite a while. He is residing now in the US but known to be a chef of Mexico's Hot Pepper. He is a director and his duties include the smooth operation of Lucerna hotel. He started this hotel in 1966 a family business and his mother Maria Teresa De Kabande is the President.

No Luck but Hoping

It's late and my computer is acting up no luck to even get at least one opportunity for tonight but it's fine. Our computer is ready to surrender and getting a new LCD is so expensive rather than breaking it more I think better to get a new one. It keeps acting up after fixing each trouble another will arise! It seems that our monthly internet bill is not worthy if in fact cannot use it.

I maybe say goodbye to blogging and will just go rent in the cafe when we need to speak to our relatives and browse for projects.

Typhoon and Classes

It's been over a week and the weather is still unpredictable, there is typhoon in some places and we are lucky that Metro Manila is not affected but experiencing heavy rains. The classes are not even suspended so there is no rest to projects. We are quite lucky that our house is very close to the school and just watching the kids go to school.

There is no internet access yet at home as it is not a major necessity but it helps researching information. As soon as we settle our budget we will get it reconnected for the meantime we need to rent in the cafe.

Super Busy Week

Hello everyone! My luxury time to blog and visit your blogs is very limited nowadays. Having 3 kids is not easy I need to spend more study time with them. The exam is getting closer so even them are limited to play with friends and need to concentrate in their homeworks and pointers to review.

They are still in elementary but it makes us all occupied with lots of things to do and I want to make sure that they will get excellent grades. During weekdays they have plenty of time to play but during school days even TV is limited to them. I am glad that they are doing very well in school.

A Very Special Love Box Office

The singing champion Sarah Geronimo recently launched her first movie with John Lloyd Cruz. From singing into acting in TV series entitled "Pangarap na Bituin" now in the big screen and named as the reigning box office queen. She hailed as the new superstar more or less on the 3rd week showing of their movie "A Very Special Love" it already surpassing P130-M in the Philippines. Congratulations!!!

Classes Suspended in Metro Manila

Well, as of today, classes for all level are suspended because of typhoon Caren. It's nice for me for we have a lot of time to focus with my kids reviewers. This week will be their 1st grading period. As their mom, I'm still hoping that my kids will still be once again the top achievers of the year. Parents are the happiest when they see their kids being successful in their school.

Heavy rain is still going on that makes Metro Manila experiencing heavy flood. Most of the lower part of Metro Manila are now flooded and even businesses are closed. Just hoping that internet connection will not be affected.

Mom Let's Stay Pretty

For mommies out there I'm sure we do not want others to call as "losyang" though we have kids already it's necessary for us to stay pretty and young looking. We are aware that here in our country the economy is bad so instead of buying beauty products we'd rather buy food for us. Well, it does not mean that you will not take care of yourself when you have enough budget let's do the inexpensive beauty maintenance like ice. Here is how to:

*wash your face with clean water and mild soap to take off make ups, powder or beauty cream
*get ice cubes and let it melt a little until it's shiny
*run the ice gently over your face but be careful running over your eyes (i would suggest close your eyes, ice is slippery you do not want to hurt your eyes)
*pat your face with clean towel and you're done

Avoid using astringent so you will not look like a clown, imagine how funny it is when your face is so white while your neck and your skin are dark. Just a thought...

Now Hunting in Triple P

What can I say now? A busy mom still finding time to earn a little even at home while taking care of my three "chikitings". I am lucky that when I submit my blog in triple P I got approved in just minutes, my sister said I need to wait for about 48 hours or a week until the customer love reviewed and approved it but as I said I got approved right away!

I am trying to learn more in terms of blogging so I will make more money for the kids extra expenses. Our deal is that my earnings from blogging will go to them to spend time in the mall arcade to play and to eat in Jollibee. I admit, I'm not good in blogging but it put smile to my relatives that are far from us right now and not to mention that it will put smile on my little kids faces when they tasted my earnings from here.

Audio and Media Converter Software

We wanted to convert my brother's wedding video into CD but we do not know how to convert them. We asked a computer shop to convert it to CD/DVD however we only wasted money because it's not compatible with our media player and did not play at all. Finally, there is a software that can convert WMV to AVI and compatible to most audio and video players.

I am reading the rates&reviews for this software and seems like to work well so I am eager to try it myself. The software looks user-friendly, I can understand the visual editor which I believe will work well for a newbie to computer like me.

Philippines Olympic Team 2008

Filipinos are hoping to get medals for the Olympic 2008 in Beijing, China where our government offers 15M pesos incentive to Filipino athlete/s to bring home gold medal. Our country sent 15 players to compete in the Olympic Game. The 15 players are:

Starting To Chase Milkfish

Gratitude to my cousins and sister for motivating me to write my own blog. I had no idea what to write first and now I agree with them to take advantage with our unlimited internet access at home now. I am dividing my time with my kids school projects and blogging that makes me more eager to write when I got approved to some of making money sources through blogging.

I am neophyte with the techniques on how to make a good article and beautify my blog but every time I messed up with it my sister is to the rescue to fix it. Thank you very much to those who inspired me writing and to my family for being my inspiration.

A certain percentage of the populations all over the world are dreaming to come to the prestigious country the United States. Many are dreaming to work and have a greener pasture in the land of milk and honey the USA. I would be lying to myself if I would not want to visit and see the country because like others I am hoping that one day my family will be able to visit the land of opportunity to tour around and explore most of the beautiful places.
